Sri Lanka launches ‘radio worth watching’

Sri Lanka’s YES 101 FM and 100.8 FM have partnered with Portland-based digital music company VADIO to claim an Asian first – the ‘Radio Worth Watching’ streaming service.

VADIO streams visual radio that plays out music videos for any song airing on the station.
It gives online users real-time access to song titles and videos, commercials, social media, promotions and networking with the YES 101 crew.
YES 101 is owned by ABU member The Capital Maharaja Group and plays contemporary English hit music.
Vasileios Touronis, Senior Vice President, International of VADIO said: “This media group has proven once again to be a pioneer in changing the way audiences connect with radio.”
