Japan's public broadcaster NHK today launched a 'NHK Creative Library' on its website, 
offering users selected content for free.
Internet users can access the NHK Creative Library to download video and audio clips 
of nature and animals which have been selected from NHK's video archives.
The clips are free to use provided they are credited and it is for a non-profit purpose.
NHK said 3,000 thousand video clips are expected to be uploaded by the end of 2009.
The new service aims to share NHK's content with its viewers, and through this provide a 
platform to raise creativity and visual information literacy among the public and teenagers
 towards awareness on copyright.
Currently the content offered is in Japanese only. To view content available for download,
