New Zealand: ZB grabs city listeners

Newstalk ZB is attracting more listeners than any other radio station in Auckland, according to the latest radio ratings.

The Auckland Commercial Radio Audience Measurement Survey, released yesterday by market researchers Research International, shows the station attracts 205,200 different listeners each week.

It is followed by ZM with 151,700 listeners and The Edge, with 149,100 listeners.

Nationally, however, The Edge attracts the largest audience, with 437,800 different listeners tuning in each week.

It is followed by ZM (405,500) and Newstalk ZB (405,100).
