The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation today launched its 6 new studios equipped with state of the art broadcast technology.
CEO, Riyaz Sayed Khaiyum described the launch as a proud and milestone achievement for the board and staff of FBC.
Khaiyum says the renovations were necessary as the Broadcasting House, which was constructed in 1954 was falling apart and in desperate need of renovations.
The 6 new studios face Carnavon Street allowing the public to see the announcers or guest speakers while they are Live on air.
Meanwhile renovations are continuing at Broadcasting House and once completed the building will be home to 6 radio stations and a TV station.
