USA: NASB 2011 Annual Meeting

Shortwave Radio Colleagues:

 

Would you like to join us on the Majesty of the Seas for the NASB/DRM USA Annual Meeting May 13-16?  We still have 12 cabins available in our block booking on this three-night cruise from Miami to the Bahamas.

 

Shortwave broadcasters and listeners from as far away as Finland and Japan have already booked their cabins for the cruise meeting.  In the ship's Conference Center, we will have presentations about such subjects as shortwave listening in the Arctic, Florida's NASB member stations, shortwave broadcasting in and to Latin America, and Dr. Jerry Plummer will reveal the results of our NASB Shortwave Listener Survey.

 

The ship will make stops in Nassau, capital of the Bahamas, and in Royal Caribbean's private Bahamian island Coco Cay.  There are many activities on the ship and in the ports of call for your family members who don't care to participate in the shortwave meetings.  The Majesty of the Seas offers a variety of restaurants and a different show each night in the ship's theater. 

 

The all-inclusive price for the NASB annual meeting cruise is $299.00 per person plus $66.41 taxes for an inside cabin, based on double ocupancy.  Other prices and arrangements are available for single, triple or quad occupancy, and oceanview cabins are available for an additional charge.  The cruise price includes all meals from Friday lunch through Monday breakfast, three nights accommodation in a private cabin with bathroom, and most of the entertainment on the ship.  There is no charge for the actual NASB/DRM USA meeting itself.

 

You can reserve your space on the cruise for a $100.00 deposit per person (or $200.00 for a single cabin).  The balance can be paid on March 4th.
