KBS celebrates 40 years as a public service broadcaster

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of KBS as public service broadcaster, the radio channel KBS Classic FM hosted a special edition of its concert show, “KBS FM Concert Hall” at the KBS Hall in Seoul.

Billed as Concert of Sharing, the event presented an opportunity for members of the audience to donate books and music records while enjoying an evening of classical music such as Beethoven’s Triple Concerto for Piano, Violin and Cello.

“KBS FM Concert Hall” is a live music concert organized by KBS Classic FM, serving as a venue for high standard classical music, which to date has had more than a 140-episode run. KBS Classic FM is one of seven radio channels KBS airs, including KBS World Radio, which is broadcast in 11 languages.
