VOV-Vietnam and MCOT-Thailand to step up cooperation

Monday 06 Jul 2009 Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Thai broadcaster MCOT have agreed to expand their cooperation. VOV's Deputy General Director, Dao Duy Hua, made the announcement today during a visit to Hanoi by a delegation from MCOT. He said cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand had created a firm foundation for VOV and MCOT to foster bilateral ties. The two would increase professional exchanges and technical support. Mr Hua briefed the visitors on developments at VOV, including its recent launch of a television channel, VOV-TV. The MCOT delegation also spoke of the importance of close cooperation with VOV.
